McDuffie Regional Medical Center (MRMC) offers a wide spectrum of medical and health services for the people of McDuffie County and surrounding communities. It is a licensed, 47-bed medical center and was established in January of 1952.
McDuffie Regional Medical Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the national body which sets and oversees the standards of quality for health care institutions. MRMC is a member both the American Hospital Association and the Georgia Hospital Association.
MRMC offers Intensive Care, Cardiac Care and 24-hour services in the Laboratory and Radiology. The Emergency Care Department provides full-time immediate evaluation, stabilization and treatment care to more than 11,000 patients annually. Surgical Services of McDuffie Regional Medical Center include surgeons specializing in surgical areas of General Surgery, Orthopedic, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Gynecology and Ear Nose and Throat.
Through our wellness arm of the medical center, we offer the community Health Link, a facility complete with modern fitness equipment, aerobic instruction, and expert consultation on creating healthier lifestyles. The Community Education Department offers free health education classes, screening, programs, and support to the public as well as providing a fee based corporate health program to businesses and industry.
