With I-20 running through McDuffie County, all of our industrial sites have very quick access to this major east-west corridor. Properties north of I-20 include Advance Industrial Park and Stone Industrial Park, both owned by the Development Authority, and the privately held North Park Business center, located right alongside McDuffie Regional Airport and next to the satellite campus of Augusta Tech.
South of I-20 and west of Thomson is the Mt.Pleasant Industrial Park, owned by the Development Authority, and two private sites, 278 West and the W.L.M. Knox Site. Construction of a new interchange at mile marker 168 will begin in 2006 and when completed in 2007, will allow for easy 10 minute access to I-20 along the western bypass.
