Hours: Mon. - Sat., 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Where You Can Recycle?
City of Thomson Residents
- Please place your recycling container at curbside along with your regular garbage container.
- Please return your recycling container to your home after your recyclables have been picked up. Do not leave the containers out overnight.
- Please use the Thomson-McDuffie Recycle Drop-off Facility.
Town of Dearing and McDuffie County Residents
- Please bring your recyclables to the Thomson-McDuffie Recycle Drop-off Facility. Use any available container to get your recyclables there.
- Please bring your yard waste to the Thomson-McDuffie pit burner area. We accept yard waste free of charge.
- Please bring your appliances (refrigerators, washing machines, stoves, dryers, water heaters) to the Thomson-McDuffie pit burner area. We accept appliances free of charge.
The Thomson-McDuffie pit burner area is behind the Thomson-McDuffie Recycle Drop-off Facility on Augusta Highway.
