One of our goals for thomson-mcduffie.com is to give more detailed information about happenings in the county and city governments that may affect your life. Another goal is to enable you to do government business from the comfort of your home or office.

McDuffie is a diverse county with much to offer. Within 10 miles of Thomson, we have: two excellent golf courses; a beautiful lake with 1,200 miles of shoreline; the Rock House, the oldest standing dwelling of its type in the state of Georgia; excellent specialty shopping; several hunting preserves; and dining experiences for every taste.
