The McDuffie County Fire Department strives to protect and enhance the quality of life of McDuffie County citizens through preventing or minimizing the loss of life and property threatened by the hazards of fire, medical and rescue emergencies, hazardous materials incidents and disaster situations in our community.
McDuffie County Fire Service provides fire protection services to the unincorporated areas of the county. We operate out of six fire stations staffed by seven full-time, eight part-time and 60-paid-per-call employees. We provide services to approximately 15,000 citizens in an area of 250 square miles. Our ISO rating is 6/9.
