Pine Top Farm's Round Up for MANNA
The annual Roundup for Manna will be held at the Circle G Ranch (Pine Top Farm) on Oct. 6 from 5 to 9 p.m.

The Roundup begins with the wagon train that carries the unmounted city slickers out on the range to find the cattle. The mounted cowboys herd the cattle to the wagons for feeding and petting, and then the cowboys move the cattle -- all 160 head -- to new pastures in a western-style cattle drive.

About halfway to the new pastures, the herd is stopped and gathered up for some roping and calf-working. Then the cowboys get the herd moving again and the wagons follow to the new pastures.

When the wagons return to the starting point at the Circle G party shed, a burgers-and-beans supper is served, followed by dessert. live musical entertainment and bull riding.

Tickets are available in advance or at the gate. For ticket prices, please call Thomson First United Methodist Church at (706) 595-3936 or Manna at (706) 595-3138.
